What are data outages?

We get our product data from a third party source. When we're unable to access that source, we call it a data outage. During data outages, we cannot update any products, and product search is limited to URLs only.

Why do they happen?

Usually connectivity issues between our respective servers is to blame, but there are many reasons we could lose data access.

How are they fixed?

We first try to remedy any potential issues on our end. If that fails, we must contact support at the company supplying the data and wait for them to respond; this can unfortunately take a while, so we appreciate your patience.
